Abstract

 

This study examined the impact of educational supply on students’ academic performance in Economics in Kokona LGA of Nasarawa State. Using a descriptive survey design, data were collected from 400 senior secondary students selected from a population of 18,762 through multistage sampling. A structured, expert-validated questionnaire (validity index = 0.78; α = 0.70) served as the instrument. Data analysis employed descriptive statistics and regression analysis. Findings revealed that teachers’ availability and adequate classrooms significantly influenced students’ academic performance in Economics. The study recommends improved supply of qualified teachers and conducive learning facilities to enhance achievement.
